Medical faculty
Currently our faculty trains specialists in four majors:
- general medicine (duration 6 years)
- dentistry (duration 5 years)
- pharmacy (duration 5 years)
- nursing care (duration 5 years)
For the General medicine and Dentistry programmes only full-time attendance is available. Full-time attendance and extramural training are available for the Pharmacy programme. And the Nursing Care program is only available in the form of extramural training. We offer both budget (free) and contract (paid) forms of training.
Students, possessing insufficient knowledge of Russian language, study it at the preparatory faculty and then continue studying Russian language on the main faculty along with the special professional disciplines. They have an opportunity to get a certificate of the Russian language interpreter in medicine.
There is also postgraduate studies department on medical faculty:
- internship (duration 1 year)
- postgraduate studies (duration 3 year).
After postgraduate program every student has an opportunity to go onto further study in any University of the world.
On completing the full course of training at the medical faculty graduates work as physicians in hospitals and clinics (general practitioners, surgeons, neuropathologists, ophthalmologists, gynecologists etc.) and also as dentists, as pharmaceutists in pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies, as head nurses and medical record clerks. They work in the capacity of managers in medical institutions and public medical organizations.
All-round (both theoretical and practical) specialists training gives our graduates an opportunity to work successfully in medical management.
