The Faculty of economics
The faculty of economics is one of the most respected educational centers in Russia and abroad. Our graduates work in more than 110 countries in the world and are known as leaders of national business and academic communities. They are highly qualified professional economists with all-round classical university education.
The faculty offers professional educational programmes in economics, management and finance. The fact that our students are in demand on the dynamically developing labor market is a proof of the high standard of education our students acquire here. The Faculty’s graduates work in state administration bodies, at Universities, in research institutions, in banks, financial companies, and international organizations.
Now we teach more than 1500 students. About 1200 of them have chosen full-time attendance (one third of them are foreign citizens) More than 300 students get extra mural training. There are also about 50 postgraduate students at our Faculty.
All our 150 professors speak foreign languages and work abroad. There are 36 full professors and 56 assistant professors. Faculty encompasses 10 departments
