The PFUR museum

The main museum collection is located in the building of the Faculty of the Russian language and general educational disciplines (10/3 Miklukho-Maklay St., 348). It is dedicated to the history of the Peoples’ Friendship University foundation and development. The exhibition encompasses hundreds of documents, objects and commemoratives, thousands of photographs. Documentaries about the University history are shown in the Museum.
The lobby of the main University building (6 Miklukho-Maklay St.) hosts the exhibition “Pages of the University’ history”, which reflects 50 years of its progress, the role of the University in the process of national workforce training for more than one hundred countries in the world. This exhibition is complemented by the collection of gifts received by the University, displayed in the lobby of the University scientific library (6 Miklukho-Maklay St.), which includes thousands of ethnic artefacts.
The University museum-exhibition complex also comprises collections, dedicated to the history of different faculties.
