The admission procedures of foreign citizens with study payment

The submission of documents for study-for-fee form of education in major specialty is possible until September, 30.It takes4-6 weeks to scrutinize the documents and execute invitations for the RF entry. Please, be aware that in case of arrival in Russia after September, 15 there can be problems with admission. 

The submission of documents to the Faculty of the Russian language and general disciplines (pre-university courses) is possible at any time but depending on the enrolment period you can be proposed 2 or 3 terms of study.

 

Requirements for execution of documents

The documents of foreign candidates must be translated into Russian language and notarized. 

The validity of foreign citizen’s passport on which a foreigner will cross the border of the Russian Federation must not expire earlier than 18 months from validity start date entry study visa. In case of residence permit or another document authorizing the temporary stay of foreign citizen in the territory of a third country (different from the nationality of foreign citizen) this document must also be ordinarily submitted with a notarized translation into Russian.

 

Documents required from the candidates for primary consideration by RUDN University Admission Board:

  1. Filled in RUDN University application form with an attached color photo.
  2. Copies of educational documents containing information on the courses taken and the grades or credits awarded for each of them. If a foreign citizen applying for the vocational or higher education programs doesn’t have a document on foreign education and (or) qualification due to the nature of the educational process in his/her country, he or she submits a document containing final examination results issued to him/her by the educational establishment at which he or she is educated in the territory of the host state.
  3. Copies of pages of the applicant’s ID document, which he or she will use for crossing the border of the Russian Federation, valid for at least 18 months from the start date of the entry student visa (clearly readable pages containing the setting data for invitation).

The list of required documents to be submitted by the applicant upon his/her arrival in Russia:

  1. Original educational documents containing information on the courses taken and the grades or credits awarded for each of them. If a foreign citizen applying for the vocational or higher education programs doesn’t have a document on foreign education and (or) qualification due to the nature of the educational process in his/her country, he or she submits a document containing final examination results issued to him/her by the educational establishment at which he or she is educated in the territory of the host state. The educational documents shall be translated into Russian and legalized by the Russian Consulate in the country where they were issued.
  2. A copy of the medical report on the absence of contraindications for trainingin the Russian Federation issued by an official health authority of the applicant's country of residence (in Russian or English);
  3. A copy of the medical certificate on the absence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and AIDS issued by an official health authority of the applicant's country of residence (in Russian or English);
  4. Copies of pages of the applicant’s ID document, which he or she will use for crossing the border of the Russian Federation, with a notary or consular translation into Russian. Validity of passport should be at least 18 months from the start date of the entry student visa.
  5. Copies of documents (diplomas, certificates, etc.) of winners of international and national (municipal and other) contests and competitions.
  6. A copy of the document confirming the level of academic preparation for admission in the field of Culture and Art (if necessary).

Instructions for students enrolled in RUDN University on a contract basis:

1.    The contract shall be signed by the applicant on a mandatory basis regardless of whether he or she has reached the age of majority or not. If the applicant hasn’t reached the age of majority on the date of the enrollment contract conclusion, the contract shall be signed both by the applicant and his/her legal representative (parent, trustee, or guardian). Accordingly, both the applicant and his/her legal representative shall be present in order to conclude the enrollment contract. They shall have their ID documents (civil passport, military ID card) in hand. If the legal representative can’t be present at the time of the contract conclusion, he or she [the legal representative] may entrust the right to sign the contract to a third private person who has reached the age of majority. In this case, the private person shall hold a respective power of attorney to act on behalf of the legal representative when concluding the contract. The power of attorney shall be attested in a notary’s office in the prescribed manner.

2.      The first payment under the Contract shall be made within 10 calendar days from the date of the Contract conclusion on the basis of the invoice issued at the time of the Contract conclusion. Failure to comply with the payment terms may result in termination of the contract by the decision of the University. The subsequent tuition fees shall be paid by Students in non-cash advance payments twice a year in equal installments for each semester (six months) on the basis of the invoice fixed in Russian rubles. The invoice has a limited duration. In case of delay in the invoice duration, it shall be reissued. In case of delay in payments under the Contract, the University may charge a penalty. The payment terms are specified in your contract.

  1. When paying remember that banks take a commission 0,5 - 3% from the sum of the payment. On the payment blank you have example of filling in the document, please show it to the bank manager.
  2. Fee payment bills are given at the request of the student or parent and can be faxed.
  3. The bill can be drawn at the student’s name or any other physical or legal person.
  4. Enrollment order is issued only after the money came to the University account.
  5. The contract is given to the student in the Commercial department after it is signed by the university and registered. Usually it is done 30 days after conclusion (during the enrollment campaign), at other times- after 15 calendar days.
  6. According to acting legislation the tax payer can have tax deduction. To avoid problems the payments should be made by the person who will further get the tax deduction. FormoreinformationcontacttheTaxInspection.
  7. You do not need to bring the documents proving the payment to the Commercial department.
  8. Places in RUDN University dormitories are limited. They are guaranteed and provided only after you pay for the first semester of 2015/2016 academic year and the administration gets info about the payment. Check-inisafterJuly15, 2015.
  9. Students liable for military service and expelled from university including for failure to pay the fee loses his right to deferred service.
