The United States Medical Licensure Examination (USMLE)

Educational Comission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), which was founded in USA, organizes four tests:

Step 1 - Preclinical disciplines
Test for getting medical license in USA. This is an 8-hour computer test with answers according to preclinical disciplines.

Step 2 - Clinical disciplines
Same test, according to clinical disciplines.

TOEFL - Test of English as Foreign Language
Well known TOEFL.

Step 3 - Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA)
Perhaps, most complex and crafty test, since 1998. Candidates have to accept ten patients-actors, make questioning, survey, talk, properly compile history of disease and apply preliminary diagnosis. During this test, medical knowledges from verbal English to psychology of contact is checked.
